What’s a good movie to watch?
I have been saying this for some times now, but finally got the initiative to ask.
What is a good movie for me to watch?! I was at the LA Asian Pacific Film Festival, and all of the sudden, I realized I don’t really know/seen many American/ Asian American movies! How can I want to add myself into the mix and standout in the API film world, and not know what came before me!? I can’t use the fact that came to the USA in 2002 as an excuse, or that I am horrible with names except some black actors… I realized that my personal taste is narrow and limits my ability to learn more and to connect with other film enthusiasts xP
Please reply w/ any and all movie recommendations! I personally like goofy comedy, touching rom com, biographical movies of important people, sexual liberating movies. I personally believe movies are essentially all about how directors view the world and our purpose on earth to be. So what’s your favorite movies?

Sometimes it’s good to forget about the term, the label, the societal judgement, and remember what it means to me, what it means to us. Barring none
Love makes beautiful sounds
Action, verbs over nouns
Courage is the beginning of freedom
Knowledge be the entire kingdom

Black April, it’s not a symbol of lost for me. It’s a symbol of hope and change. It’s one occasion where we come together. It is the symbol of an identity, an identity molded by our struggles. When People of different walks, who were connected one way or another. Black April is a symbol of the war, of the American policies, of the righteousness and the mistakes. It was a war movie, but there was only one take. But like any movie, you can have your own take.
Last subject before we close the gratitude bar: Those who seek fame fortune and success, asking for appreciation is the wrong way to go. You don’t just wanna be thanked, you want to be the one thanking people. You can only be thankful when you have something to be thankful for.
And so I reserve my thanks, it will be said better in later times. Keeping that in mind, …I’m ready to tank.
